Headteacher's Welcome
At Tunmarsh School, we provide all students with a learning experience that cultivates a purposeful workplace, and opens opportunities for all students to engage with learning. Our students arrive here often having had a challenging experience at mainstream schools, for whatever reason. What we seek to achieve at Tunmarsh is to tailor each student's educational programme such that they are able to work to their potential, make the best possible progress in their learning, and to achieve relevant skills, knowledge and qualifications to move to the next stage of their education.
Newham PRUs have a shared vision, focused on delivering outstanding education and supporting the individual needs of all of our pupils. We work together with our pupils to find solutions and enable enriched learning experiences and a broad range of outcomes. Our core values of Progress, Responsibility and Respect are at the heart of what we do, ensuring we promote nurturing, learning community, with the welfare of our pupils staff and community at the centre. Working at all times to be the best we can be.
ON-SITE SCHOOL CLOSURE
Please be advised that Tunmarsh School will remain closed for onsite lessons this week.
Arrangements have been put in place for all pupils to access their timetabled lessons remotely. If you require further information about remote learning timetables, please see the Remote Learning section of our website. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the school.
The school will reopen to students on Monday 1st February 2021.
